The company was founded in 1997 by a group of consultants and initially focused on Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Mail, and Microsoft Exchange environments. Shortly after, MADSolutions expanded to include retail software development solutions. The company name originated from the acronym Messaging And Directory Services stemming from our work with Microsoft messaging and directory services products.

Our services and solutions continue to evolve as we address the unique needs of our growing customer base. Building from our foundation in directory services and messaging, the key components to corporate communications, we expanded our focus to include unified messaging; unified communications and collaborative solutions.  Our key product focus areas are Microsoft's Active Directory; Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft Office Communications Server/Microsoft Lync; Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server.  These core technologies are well integrated, solid, scalable, flexible solutions that provide a robust enterprise class communications and collaboration infrastructure.
